As the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus continues, we would like to inform you that the Friends of Shirati banquet scheduled for March 14th has been postponed. The board of Friends of Shirati made this prudent decision in recognition of the risks associated with large gatherings—given the current public health environment. We want to do our part to limit the spread of this virus to our supporters and in our communities. The board will continue to monitor the situation and determine the date for the next banquet accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience!
The Friends of Shirati banquet is our largest fundraising event. While we wait to determine the date for our next banquet, we want to ensure continued support for the hospital. Our priority now is to do everything we can to avoid financial shortfall that might interrupt patients’ care. Although we will not be meeting on March 14th, we encourage you to send your planned contributions via mail or online.
